Buy directly from Algerian merchants. Their catalogs, prices and stock come live from Faoutara.
The challenge
Selling online is a second job for a small merchant: photos, prices and stock have to be kept up to date in yet another system, and orders have to be copied back by hand.
We wanted merchants who already manage their shop in Faoutara to be able to sell online with no extra data entry, while buyers get a clear, trustworthy store that respects Algerian e-commerce law (law 18-05).
What we built
Vendera reads each merchant's catalog, prices and stock directly from Faoutara. When a buyer orders, the order is created in the merchant's Faoutara account, and its status and invoice flow back to the buyer automatically.
We built the storefront, cart and checkout, buyer accounts with single sign-on, and the back office that calculates commissions and monthly payouts to sellers. The store is available in Arabic, French and English.
