Brikoula
Post any job in seconds and connect with trusted people nearby, across all 58 wilayas of Algeria.
The challenge
In Algeria, finding a reliable plumber, electrician or cleaner still depends mostly on word of mouth. On the other side, many skilled people have no simple way to show what they do and find clients near them.
The goal was a single, simple app where anyone can post a need or offer a skill, in their own language, and find people nearby they can trust.
What we built
We designed and built Brikoula end to end: a Flutter app for Android and iOS, a web app, a Python backend and the website, all running on DZ Coders infrastructure.
Requests appear on a map so users can discover help around them. Identity verification, ratings and in-app chat build trust between strangers, and a coin system rewards activity. The whole experience is available in Arabic, French and English.
